Welcome to our beautiful beach villa located in Fumba, about 30 minutes drive from Stone Town and 20 minutes drive from the airport. This is the perfect place if you want to get away from noise and stress from the city and tourist areas. The villa is surrounded by mangrove forest and ocean breeze. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the roof terrace, where you can also witness a wonderful sea view. We can also tempt you with our own private bay/cove where you can swim when it is high tide. The space Our 250m2 beach villa is a modern villa with a minimalistic style mixed with african details. This is truely a place where the soul gets peace and you can gather new energy. Out trusted worker, Ali, is taking care of the place and its security gards day and night. Its not a washing machine in the villa, but we can be helpful to arrange laundry for you. All 3 bedrooms has kingsize bed with a private bathroom. Its also a guest toilet in the villa. The livingroom and kitchen is one big open area facing the seaside. From the veranda just outside the livingroom its stairs up to the roof terrace where you have an amazing 360 degree wiew. The kitchen is fully furnished. The power source in the house is electric power and solar power as backup Its AirCondition and fans in all rooms, and its hot water in the showers. Its Wifi in the villa. The internet is good and stable. IMPORTANT: The villa is located in a remote area. Supermarket and other shops can be found in the Stone Town area and nearby the airport. Its no restaurants or shops nearby. We therefore recommend planning food and beverage purchases. You cant drink the the tapwater, so be sure to always have enough drinking water available. The villa has a private cove surrounded by mongrove forest. Note that when it is low tide, it is not possible to swim. But you have the unique opportunity to discover mangrove forest walking. Check websites online to follow the tide. Environmental responsibility With the tides, there is a lot of garbage that attaches to the roots of the mangrove trees. We are dedicated to conserving nature, so please (if you are interested) help us cleaning up garbage. Due to earlier logging of the mangrove forest, we are now keen to help it grow. Other things to note Make sure to update with the correct number of people in the booking because we charge per person.
