Balcony off the room to watch village life along the river, such as locals pulling up river reeds on boats to feed small family fish farms. Hang out and kick back while you eat BBQ seafood or have a beer. Swim off the bamboo jetty into the river or swim across it to the other side. Enjoy the stunning scenery and sunsets from the top deck while lying in a hammock or having your meal. Peaceful and quiet during the day and night. Quiet eco-friendly travellers and families welcome. Locals are very kind and friendly and bend over backwards to help. Only minutes walking from downtown where there are ATMs and other restaurants and cafes. We can arrange motorbike hire and safe and private car transport from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha and back to Dong Hoi. One way takes around 45 minutes. Buses, cars are available from Dong Hoi to our property. We can provide excellent local knowledge of the magnificent caves and tourist loops. There are local fish farms on the river and people are collecting river reeds. Boats on their way to and from Phong Nha cave go by from 7.30am-16.00pm
