Spacious and welcoming, the property is equipped with every comfort to ensure maximum relaxation and pleasure, creating an authentic and evocative atmosphere. Located at an altitude of 800 meters, we provide a cooler environment even in summer. • Ground floor: The large living room, with dual access to different areas of the garden, represents the heart of the property. You will find: - Large wooden dining table - Kitchenette with oven, various kitchen utensils, refrigerator, sink, and coffee machine - Bathroom with toilet and bathtub - Two wood-burning fireplaces - Wood-fired oven - 48-inch TV with Amazon Firestick for entertainment Completing the picture is a storage room with a washing machine. The garden features an outdoor seating area where you can relax or have meals outdoors. There is a second wood-fired oven and a barbecue area available. • Upper floor: Each suite (double bedroom) is equipped with a Queen-size bed, separate from the living area. There is a 28-inch Smart TV in each double bedroom. The main suite has access to the balcony, overlooking the lake and the valley, and a private en-suite bathroom, ensuring excellent privacy from the rest of the family or friends. The private bathroom is windowed and includes a bathtub, toilet, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel. The other two double bedrooms have views of the mountains and Mount Terminillo. There is a single bedroom with a view of the lake and the valley. There is a second windowed bathroom equipped with a shower cabin, toilet, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel. The living room is spacious and brightly lit thanks to the large windows and has access to the balcony overlooking the lake and the valley. It features a large wooden dining table, a fireplace, a comfortable sofa for relaxation, and a 28-inch Smart TV. There is also a reading corner with a cozy armchair. There is a separate and windowed kitchen with access to the balcony. It is equipped with an oven, microwave, various kitchen utensils, Nescafé coffee machine, refrigerator, tea kettle, and toaster. Being separate from the other rooms, it will prevent any unwanted odors from spreading. In addition to the Welcome Kit, towels of various sizes, blankets, pillows, sheets, and duvets are provided for your convenience. Guests have unrestricted access to all the indoor and outdoor spaces surrounding the Casale. We will welcome you to hand over the keys, and Dadiana, the owner of the house, lives near the property and will be available to ensure that your stay is excellent. During the summer, you can enjoy its free or equipped beaches. The local trattorias and restaurants offer excellent food at generally affordable prices. The nearest one to you is a 3-minute drive away and is called "Il Tartufo". I highly recommend visiting the enchanting village of Castel di Tora and the Medieval Village of Monte Antuni. Both places are definitely worth a visit. I also recommend visiting the spectacular Fortress of Rocca Sinibalda, which is one of the most fascinating castles in Italy and a national monument. It dates back to the year 1000 and was transformed into a powerful military fortress and luxurious noble palace during the Renaissance. To reach Lake Turano, you can use various means of transportation from anywhere. • Distance from Rome: 80 km • Distance from Rieti: 20 km If you're traveling by plane, the closest airports are Ciampino and Fiumicino, located approximately one hour and twenty minutes and one hour and forty minutes away, respectively. If you prefer to drive, you can take Via Salaria, the A1, or the A24 Roma l'Aquila highways to reach the lake. For public transportation, you can take a train from Rome's Termini Station to Carsoli, which takes about one hour. From Carsoli, you can then take a bus to the surrounding areas of the lake, including the stop at "Il Tartufo" restaurant, which is the closest to our Casale. However, we recommend traveling by car or taking a taxi because there is an 800-meter dirt road to reach our location. We also offer the option of arranging a driver upon request for many of these transfers. It is recommended to have a car to visit all the surrounding areas and villages. The nearest restaurant, "Il Tartufo," is located 3 minutes away from the Casale and has the closest bus stop to us. As for public transportation, there are bus stops along the route from Rieti to the Stipes terminal, which is located 5 minutes away from the Casale. However, having a car will provide more convenience and flexibility in exploring the region. The area is surrounded by lush greenery, offering numerous hiking trails and natural routes to explore. The lake is suitable for swimming and offers various activities such as canoeing, swimming, fishing, and more! During the summer, there are many festivals and local fairs organized by the nearby villages. There is a shelter where free-range chickens are kept, and within the property, you will find three lovely cats and approximately ten rabbits. We offer fresh eggs from our chickens. We have our own production of high-quality black truffles. We produce our own honey. We produce homemade blackberry jam and cherry jam.
