we love this because... Our first search when looking for a holiday house is "water view". So we love that it is positioned right on the ocean. In summer we simply walk across the road to the beautiful beach with shallow blue water and white, white sand. Its perfect for our kids to play safely all day long. In winter we take walks along the beach when the sea takes on a wilder appearance and Paddington our four-legged friend is allowed to walk and run. The house is a townhouse and was great for our family and we shared with another family. There is a small cottage (Shoreline Hideaway) at the rear of the property that is completely separate and you can book it with the house or it is available to other guests. So you need to leave the driveway clear but other than that everyone has their own private space. The foreshore on this part of the Mornington Peninsula has the best beaches and we walk in either direction and take in the spectacular views of Port Phillip Bay along the Bay Trail. Our favourite spots are the upstairs lounge where we snuggle up with a book and a glass of wine in front of the gas fire in winter and watch the weather change across the bay. In summer the balcony is the perfect spot to sit and watch the beachgoers. Everyone loves the outdoor heated spa. It does only seat 4 at a time so for larger groups...get in line. we love this because... Mills Beach House is the perfect location for the most relaxing indulgent holiday! A house of pure glass overlooking the ocean where we sit on the balcony and watch the yachts go by with the city lights in the distance. In the afternoon we cross the road to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Peninsula. Mills Beach is perfect for swimming and is family friendly. A late afternoon game of tennis with the family and then a short walk to the Main Street in Mornington for dinner at any one of the many cafes and restaurants. Perfect! PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. There is no garden but Royal Beach is only a 10 min walk away where I can play in the water all day. There is lots a perfect verandah for anytime to keep me out of the weather. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

we love this because... The Aston is the personification of glamour and luxury. Its what we choose when we want to celebrate something really special with our partner, friends or family. The rooftop terrace is the place for sunbaking on a lounger watching the ships coast by on their way in and out of Port Phillip Bay with a cool drink in hand and music playing in the background. We would live up here in summer making use of the dining space and bbq. Its really a resort with its swimming pool and spa and a balcony on the first floor connected to the lounge and stunning kitchen for breakfasts, lunches or dinners with friends, we use the lift to take us from floor to floor. We walk across the road to the pristine beach to sunbake on the sand and dip our toes into the ocean. And at night we stroll a few hundred metres to the vibrant cafes and restaurants of Dromana. We love being in the centre of things but it's only a few minutes drive to the wineries of Red Hill or the market town of Mornington. This is the spot for a long relaxing break...forget Queensland and holiday closer to home. Please note there are security cameras outside the property but they are inactive during your stay. PAWfect As a four-legged friend I need special permission from the owner to stay here. If you are small or old like me then you will probably be fine but if you are a big WOOFER then its not the house for you. You can always ASK.

we love this because.. we are always looking for a cute little cottage/studio that we can get away to as a couple with our doggie in tow. But we have also stayed here with two kids who slept on the sofa bed. its the perfect spot as it is right on the beach. We walk across the road to the white Sandy beaches of Capel Sound and spend all our summer days swimming and sunbaking. The Hideaway has a shared driveway with "Shoreline" the double-storey townhouse at the front of the block that can be booked together.
