La struttura si trova direttamente sul mare, su una scogliera caratterizzata da diverse piccole calette di ciottoli e scogli, al piano terra in una villetta bifamiliare con giardino pensile di proprietà esclusiva ; essendo situata in un parco privato chiuso, le calette non sono accessibili a terzi. La zona è tranquilla e silenziosa, ma altresì a pochi passi dal centro, raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. Check in e out solo durante i weekend della settimana. La casa è dotata di due ampie camere da letto, soggiorno con TV e divano letto, cucina con lavatrice e lavastoviglie, bagno con doccia, stanzino, e zanzariere. Le due camere da letto, una ha un letto matrimoniale, mentre l'altra due singoli che all'occorrenza si possono unire e diventare matrimoniale. Elegante ed accogliente monolocale con affaccio sul mare, nel centro storico di Cefalù. Scendendo due gradini si accede a questo monolocale, situato al piano terra, che si presenta come un unico grande ambiente arredato con cura. Sulla destra si trova l'angolo cottura ben accessoriato e dotato di macchina del caffè, in fondo l'area notte con TV ed un letto matrimoniale, che, alzandolo diventerà un comodo ed ampio divano, davanti al quale è presente una stupenda vasca idromassaggio dove rilassarsi. Completa l'appartamento un bagno, con doccia in vetro, che, qualora aveste bisogno di privacy, basterà schiacciare il telecomando sul muro alla sinistra dello specchio. Degno di nota è il balconcino con affaccio diretto sul mare, ammirabile anche dal letto e dalla vasca idromassaggio: distesi, sembrerà di stare su una barca in mezzo al mare. La casa è situata nel centro di Cefalù, a poca distanza dal lungomare e dalle sue bellissime e limpide spiagge. Il centro storico è caratterizzato da un versante roccioso, che si conclude nel vecchio porto dove tuttora vengono ormeggiate le barche dei pescatori. Tra le bellezze architettoniche si contano la bellissima Cattedrale di Cefalù, tra le più famose della Sicilia, e il Museo Mandralisca. La stazione di Cefalù dista 1 km a piedi mentre l'aeroporto di Palermo 100 km. Se raggiungete l'isola in volo, suggerisco di noleggiare un'auto all'aeroporto di Palermo. This is our winter surf retreat house, and we rent it out when not using it. We completely refurbished it in 2024. Buggerru is on a steep hill, this house is down by the main square so you can walk anywhere without trekking up the steep slope under a baking sun! Completely refurbished in 2024 to a modern and clean finish: Bedroom 1: Double bed with en suite bathroom. Industrial archeology overlooking a splendid coastline, Buggerru was born from a mining village and lies in the wildest coast of the island. In the surroundings of the town there is a suggestive stretch of coast, bordered to the north by Capo Pecora with its dunes and Portixeddu. To the south, two kilometers from the town, there is the splendid inlet of Cala Domestica, a jewel set between limestone cliffs: at the bottom of a fjord guarded by a Spanish tower (18th century), you will find a beach of soft sand with the colours white, amber and golden. Visit the Henry Gallery, now an open-air museum, once crossed by a train carrying the extracted mineral. Buggerru has a port where you can book a boat or dinghy to explore the sea cliffs with their crystal water. Look for Pan di Zucchero, Capo Pecora, and Costa Verde with its famous dunes. Outside there is a barbecue and a shower that draws sweet water from the cistern, very useful when you back home from the sea. The housekeeper Manuel, a trusted person, will be present for any particular need (key delivery, tank control and water level) and any other problem. The dammuso is located in a residential area of 8 private dammusi, surrounded by greenery and each completely independent. The best way to visit the island is to rent a car or scooters. The house has private parking. Anyway the bus stop connecting the town of Pantelleria and Scauri is 2 minutes walking distance from the Dammuso. Each dammuso is equipped with a cistern that is filled with rainwater during the winter. When the winter reserves are used up, the supply is made by tankers carrying drinking water from a water maker on the island. The water for the inhabitants of Pantelleria is a precious commodity, so we kindly ask you to make the right use of it. Upon arrival you will find the full tank, which normally lasts about 1 week. Any subsequent loads of the tank during your stay are at your expense (100 euros).
