A seaside villa for exclusive use, where Japanese folk art and the charm of Morocco come together. Located in Hatatsu-cho, Imari City, Saga Prefecture, just a 70-minute drive from Fukuoka Airport and Hakata Station. The town is surrounded by the beauty of the seasons, with countless uninhabited islands in Imari Bay, including Iroha Island, and the surrounding mountains. In this nature-rich harbor town, "Hotel Shachihoko" opened its doors in January 2024. ・This entire house, with a spacious area of 100㎡, is available for the exclusive use of one group. (1st Floor Living A): The tokonoma features antique shachihoko and stamp art by the artist Masaaki Oyamada. Various folk art collected from across Japan is displayed. Feel free to enjoy tea in this space. (1st Floor Living B): A 6-tatami room with only Isamu Noguchi's "AKARI" light stand. The tatami made of washi (Japanese paper) is exceptionally comfortable. (1st Floor Living C): A living room with a 65-inch large TV and a kotatsu table. It is decorated with charming Moroccan goods such as lighting and cushions. You can enjoy meals in this area. (1st Floor Kitchen): Basic cooking utensils and tableware are provided. You are welcome to bring your favorite ingredients and use the kitchen freely. The accommodation offers special ingredients like pufferfish hot pot & sashimi set from Hatatsu Port, Imari beef sukiyaki set, and a fresh sashimi platter caught in Imari Bay. (1st Floor Toilet, Washroom): Amenities such as toothbrushes and cotton sets are available. A hairdryer is also provided. (1st Floor Laundry Room, Bathroom): Hand towels and bath towels are prepared in the dressing room. A drum-type washer-dryer is available for use. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and soap. (2nd Floor Moroccan-style Bedroom): Lovingly arranged with furniture collected in Morocco, mainly from Marrakech. There are two semi-double beds. The window offers a view of the sea, a small harbor, and the natural mountains. As it is a traditional wooden house surrounded by nature, it may not be completely sealed from the outdoors. While we take measures to minimize the presence of insects, occasional sightings of spiders and other insects may occur. We provide insect repellents for your convenience.
