Beach House Apartment No 7 offers a main bedroom with glass sliders that lead onto the beachfront verandah. Relax in the ensuite bath and gaze through the timber bi folds out to the Coral Sea for the romantics amongst us. You have bedding for another four guests in two further bedrooms with a queen plus twin configuration and second bathroom with separate toilet/laundry. The small shopping village at Wongaling Beach (easy to identify thanks to the Big Cassowary sculpture) has a gym, cafe and hair salon. There is a drive in bottle shop at Mission Beach Resort. Adjacent to this complex is Woolworths which has the Bendigo Bank a smaller Bottle shop, pharmacy and cafe. The supermarket is closed on Sundays. You can also find the service station – open 7 days - at Woolworths complex. ANZ and Westpac ATM’s are situated within Woolworths. Dining out in Wongaling Beach – Mission Beach Resort offers bistro style dining, Spicy Thai Hut offers fab Thai food and there is the Italian, Cafe Rustica. Wongaling also offers a great kids playground, skate park, basketball half court and 'Splash'N'Dunk' water play park, this is all situated in the beachfront parkland at Rotary Park. Just a short 5-10 minute drive will take you to the village centre of Mission Beach with a great range of café’s bars and specialty shops. The Mini Mart and Leny’s fruit and vegetable store are open on Sundays when Woolworths is closed. The first and third Sunday of each month there a markets in the Ulysses park at Mission Beach. You'll find it warm in Winter and cool in Summer due to the Passive Solar design and the thermal characteristic of the hempcrete construction. We use only our own rain water, which is filtered and UV treated before it enters the house. You can enjoy THE BEST drinking water from every tap in the house. You'll find waiting for you a Welcome Gift of a bottle of local Margaret River wine, biscuits or chocolates, and some hemp-infused alcoholic beverages to enjoy with your guests. The Marri dining table allows for 8 diners and the living area easily seats up to 10 with our leather sofas, side wall seating and occasional chairs. You will need a car or motorbike to travel around the area. EXTRAS DURING YOUR STAY HERBEE BREWS We have collaborated with Herbee Brewing, a WA hemp-infused alcoholic beverage brand, to offer 50ml hemp gin or vodka bottles or cans of their hemp-infused beers for $10 each. We currently have their Pilsner, Sativa and their Indica varieties. A mixed beer 6 pack is $30. If you'd like a large 500ml bottle of the Gin or Vodka, it is $65. The master bedroom in Penthouse is 30 m2 (6m x 5m) with a stunning views, a study nook, direct balcony access, and a huge walk-in-robe which connects to the bathroom. The second bedroom is across the hall (i.e., does not share a wall with the master) and contains a comfortable queen bed. The balcony is slightly shorter, but this space is adopted by the incredible enclosed lounge area which is perfectly designed with floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the famous Peppy sunsets. This lounge area also contains a fold-out bed for those that would like to wake up to the ocean (we do not count this as one of the bedrooms). Adjacent to this lounge area is a dining area and another living space with a wood fire. The master bedroom in Villa also contains a king-size bed and its own dedicated balcony which has total privacy from the rest of the property. The second bedroom in Villa is huge at 22.3 m2 (4.1m x 5.44m) and contains a bunk bed set and additional queen bed. Finally, the Villa is also entirely self-contained with a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a bathroom, and a laundry. Please note that there is no internal access between Penthouse (top level) and Villa (mid level). You walk 15 metres between each level via a private external path. If anyone in your ground has mobility issues we recommend that they stay in Penthouse because there are a few steps. GROUND LEVEL ("Studio") The ground level of Beachfront Mansion contains a treasure trove of fun: table tennis, darts, beach equipment, and more. You can elect to use this area as undercover parking or as a games room, whichever you prefer. The ground level also contains a very private studio bedroom with its own dedicated courtyard area plus en suite bathroom. You can access the ground floor form the internal stairs in Villa (mid level) or the external pathway / stairs from Penthouse (top level). It is via the ground level that you will have direct access to Wave Walk and Peppermint Grove Beach, which is literally a stone's throw away. We will be available as required throughout your stay.
