Oceanfront Luxury Villa La Casa Blanca

Ideally situated on the ocean on the famous Samana Bay where you can watch humpback whales cavorting in the waves, la Casa Blanca is an ideal base for exploring the Dominican Republic, and a perfect out-of-the-way retreat for tropical relaxation. Rent this villa and let our friendly and experienced hosts take care of you. We look forward to sharing the beauty and culture of La Republica Dominica, and hope to see you soon! La Casa Blanca is a modern four bedroom four bath, luxury beach front villa designed by an architect on site. The floor plan is very open with plenty of room to congregate for meals and conversation. The villa is situated on two large lots with over 140 feet of ocean frontage. A large roof-mounted solar array and solar heated water help keep your vacation footprint green. The villa is located inside a gated condo community, The Cove. Within walking distance, just outside the condo gate is a small "colmado", corner grocery store, called Hernandez. A very "Dominican" store, it doesn't look like much but you will be surprised at what you can find there. This spacious home is perfect for families or up to four couples. A sofa bed in the second floor media room can accommodate two additional guests, though it provides little privacy, and the bathroom is downstairs. All four bedrooms have queen sized beds, remote controlled air-conditioning, and ceiling fans. The two largest bedrooms have modern, Italian style bathrooms with two glass sinks, separate shower and toilet enclosures and large closets. The two slightly smaller bedrooms are well designed, with plenty of storage and large bathrooms. The media room, on the second level, is equipped with a flat screen television and DVD/Blue-ray player. Bring your own DVDs or watch ours. The upper level also has a spacious conversation area which opens to the upper terrace. The villa offers breath-taking views from inside or out. From December through April (prime season is January through March) humpback whales put on a show right in front of the villa. On the second level there's a large wrap-around balcony overlooking the ocean. You'll find plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. WiFi internet is available, but speeds are limited. Guests have access to entire house. Alex & Milly, your host and hostess, will be available to answer your questions and suggest dining and excursions to fit your taste and interests. Alex can help you line up four wheeler trips, bicycle trips, and many other adventures. He will also be available to help keep the mechanical systems running as smoothly as possible. He has lived on a sailboat so he knows how to fix things. This is the Dominican Republic, however, and sometimes the electricity goes out or the water pressure drops. Your understanding will be appreciated. The area is surrounded with lush, palm-covered mountains and secluded beaches.
