This house is a Ryukyuan style traditional house that has been around 100 years old, and a Ryukyu dynasty ritual house, most of which are now lost. The property has a Buddhist altar (to-to-meh in okinawan) that is actually used. Please be aware that we have been reformed to maintain the original condition as much as possible, and for old house in nature, insects may appear in the house. Thank you for choosing to stay at our Nerome (pronounced "neroh-meh") home. This is a traditional house in a special neighborhood that we hope will give you a unique opportunity to experience Okinawan culture. Because of your neighbors in this community have been here for a long time, and it is a conservative community. Because the house is recently restored traditional house and this is the only guesthouse in the community, we have some house rules that we hope you will follow. In Yagaji island (Nago city), private and at home room with ocean view in front of Sumuide beach. Lots of marine item you can rent for free to enjoy the nature and relax in room, rooftop or balcony. Nothing around the house but beach. Highly recommended to use a car to get here. Free to rent : Snorkel gears, SUP, Swimming rings, Kayak. The Wi-Fi speed test result is the one as of May 1st, 2022. The internet is installed in mid of April 2022. Before we had a mobile Wi-Fi with limited service. Sumuide beach in front of house where rarely to see tourists and the locals. Around house, there are few villa but very quiet. No restaurants and shops in walking distance, so please shop well before you arrive. With a car, easy to access those below.
