Please be aware that the road to us is quite muddy and “adventurous” during the rainy season and are especially challenging to traverse by motorbike. El nido is a first class municipality in Palawan and secured by Philippine National Police and Armed forces of the Philippines. Due to the geographical location of el nido, composed of hundreds of small islands both north and south & inaccessibility, the remoteness of El Nido provides naturally secure surroundings. Daracotan Island is a scenic island off the coast of El Nido, Palawan, with white sand beach, pure blue sea, a diverse array of marine life, and a shipwreck site. If you want to have an experience, enjoy swimming, island hopping, and learn about Filipino cultures, this island is a must-see. The island offers a variety of activities, such as relaxing on pristine white beaches, exploring the colourful underwater world via snorkeling at various sites, etc. Directly in front of our beach is one of the best snorkeling spots. A sunken shipwreck with a naturally developed reef can be explored. Enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, play volleyball, relax over a beach bonfire, stargaze, or swim with bioluminescent plankton at night and so on. You can also go on a tour of the island and the nearby village (except for the private area of Tao Philippines next to our property).   We offer nipa hut. Every hut can accommodate two people. The place is a few meters away from the beach and offers a sea view. As a communal setting area, the restaurant has a lounge bar and sun desks on the beach. We serve delicious international and local food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at affordable prices. Our next-door neighbors also have a little store with a choice of snacks and beverages. We use solar electricity to power our lights, charge our electronics (phones, laptops, power banks, etc.), and keep our drinks cool. Normally, we run the electricity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, depending on the weather and battery charge. Therefore there is also no air-condition or electric fan. However, sleeping in open-air huts with the sea breeze is a unique experience. Showers and bathrooms are shared by all guests. We always make sure there is enough water in the tank (pumped from the island's freshwater well) and that it is cleaned.

Our freshwater source is from deep forest natural spring, the mountain at the back. We have installed our own filtering system, however, there are times to expect slightly blurry water but take note natural spring water is clean but not potable. No ATMs, no stores, no restaurants, no nightlife. We are located off the beaten track. Please be aware that the road to us is quite muddy and “adventurous” during the rainy season and is especially challenging to traverse by motorbike. Road from el nido town to our property is a drit/rough road. In the event of road is not accessible (in case of weather condition), we will have to arrange transfer by boat about 25 mins from the drop off place of Brgy Teneguiban. There are times between Nov- Feb, sea may be rough. Boat rental will apply. Cell phone signal and internet: We encourage disconnecting yourself from everything. Life in a remote beach area is very different from the rest of the world. We do not have a cell phone signal in our place (signal may be available if walk up to the mountain) and we take pride in this as an opportunity to escape from the stressful life.
