Due to the pristine forest at the back, there are some friendly monkey’s often comes to our fruit-bearing trees. Enjoy watching them playing and jumping from trees to trees. This is situated in a remote area where everyone can breathe, feel like own the entire beach as no other resort located in this cove. Guests can privately use the entire beach as very few locals are living on another side of the beach. Clearwater, blue sky, full of coconut trees, fresh air, sounds of birds chirping and waves make this place so spectacular, naturally. Our majestic beach is facing east where breathtaking sunrise and moonrise is a mind-blowing on each day here. Guests can enjoy island living, kayaking, spend lazy afternoon in hammock, read books, island hopping, walking on soft sand by barefoot. Basketball, volleyball also available. Property is right on the beach with a large balcony where guests can view excellent sunrise or moonrise. Sip fresh coconut juice, grill freshly catch fishes from the sea is life here. Since it is located too close to nature, it is unavoidable to see some bugs, lizards, monkeys, dogs, roosters or chicken etc. Enjoy the simplicity, and reconnect with nature, once again. Palawan is a tropical island and consequently, sometimes there are “tắc kè” gecko lizards, spiders, and other insects around. We carry out pest control services on a weekly basis to diminish their presence. But being so close & within nature, they are often seen & are not dangerous, however, we have provided mosquito net for your peace of mind. Take note our villas are sealed. We have two villas right on the beach. This two bed rooms villa can accommodate a total of 12 persons. We have 4 double-sized beds (two beds in each room) where 8 persons can sleep on the bed and we can provide two floor mattresses on living area where additional 4 persons can sleep. We also have a studio-type villa on the beach and 8 persons can sleep (rented separately). We have a few camping tents where we can accommodate 10 to 12 persons or more if your group is bigger. Only a few families living near our villas as our neighbors however end of the cove, there is a good number of friendly fishermen families living. Very peaceful. We have an in-house kitchen in each villa and we also have a common kitchen outside the villa in our utility area. You may cook or order your food from our menu in 2 day advance. If you have specific menu or special request for food, please let us know 2-3 days in advance. Foods are like home made style cook by our local caretaker. In the evening you can ask our staff to set up a BBQ Grill on the beach area. Guests often sit on the beach where we can also grill or make a BBQ for you. IMPORTANT: Expect back to basic. We have limited staff only. Everything here primitive island-style and not like a commercial resort or hotel. No stores or restaurants nearby. A remote location where you can only enjoy the sea, wind, sand, and waves. If you would like to cook, before going to Moon beach villas, Please purchase all the grocery items for your entire stay from puerto princesa or from el nido market. No nearby stores available of our villa. El nido market closes 6/7 PM. Or order from our food menu 2-3 day in advance. Solar power generally available 24/7 unless weather or technical issue arises. There are times solar energy may be shut down. Our freshwater source is from deep forest natural spring, the mountain at the back. We have installed our own filtering system, however, there are times to expect slightly blurry water but take note natural spring water is clean but not potable. No ATMs, no stores, no restaurants, no nightlife. We are located off the beaten track. Please be aware that the road to us is quite muddy and “adventurous” during the rainy season and are especially challenging to traverse by motorbike. Road from el nido town to our property is a drit/rough road. In the event of road is not accessible (in case of weather condition), we will have to arrange transfer by boat about 25 mins from the drop off place of Brgy Teneguiban. There are times between Nov- Feb, sea may be rough. Boat rental will apply. Cell phone signal and internet: We encourage disconnect yourself from everything. Life in a remote beach area is very different from the rest of the world. We do not have a cell phone signal in our place (signal may be available if walk up to mountain) and we take pride in this as an opportunity to escape from the stressful life. However, If you really cannot disconnect yourself from the rest of the world, you can walk up to the mountain to get a cell phone signal. Satellite Internet Charges: P500 per night charge. Good for 24 hours. No limit on usage or number of devices. If you stay for 2 nights stay, P1000.
